An exploration of the functional and artistic possibilities of the humble gourd, this juried exhibition features work by gourd crafters and gourd artists from across the country competing for cash awards in many categories. Deadline for entry – August 28.
Gourd Patch Festival

The annual event, sponsored in cooperation with the City of Mayfield and the Mayfield Tourism Commission, includes arts & crafts, gourd vendors, outdoor entertainment, gourd racecar derby, food and much more.
Impressions 2010—A Juried Competition

NEW DATES: October 31 - November 30
The 19th annual juried art exhibition is open to all visual artists in Kentucky and the surrounding states. Award categories are Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, Mixed Media and Fiber Art, plus $200 Best of Show award and other special awards. Deadline for entry – October 23.
All Things Small!
A tiny two-week open show of diminutive designs of both 2-D and 3-D work.

The Ice House Artisan’s Sale

Artists will have their booths filled with handcrafted carvings, jewelry, paintings, glass and pottery.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports The Mayfield / Graves County Art Guild with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. The 2009 American Recovery & Reinvestment Act provides additional funding.
