The Ice House Gallery Gift Shop offers for sale unique handcrafted items by regional artists. Jewelry, pottery, carvings, woodwork, paintings, drawings, prints, note cards, hand-knitted items, crafted gourds, baskets, brooms, and jams and jellies are among the gift shop’s many “Made in Kentucky” goods. A large selection of clay figures by folk artist Kenneth Tyler of Wingo, Ky., is included in the gift shop offerings.

The Legend of the Dogwood
According to a legend known throughout the south, the slight dogwood tree once grew mighty as an oak. Graves County author Brenda Gough and artist Malinda Mays have adapted the Easter story of the dogwood in to a beautifully illustrated book published earlier this year. Several of the book’s original illustrations by Malinda will be on display as part of this years community show. Copies of the book, signed by both the author and artist, are on sale in the Ice House gift shop and make a wonderful gift or family keepsake.
