A month-long citywide celebration of quilting demos, bazaars and a group showing of quilted fiber arts exhibition sponsored by the Piece Makers Quilt Club of Graves County.

Botanicals

Open show. No entry fees. We will accept any media for this show so long as plant life is the main subject of the work. Reception and Laurel Oak Garden Club flower show to be announced.

The Harvey Parker Community Show
July 30 – August 24
The 22nd annual open community exhibition featuring works by area visual and literary artists. Open show. No entry fees. Deadline for entry: July 20
All About Gourds
September 3 – October 5
An exploration of the functional and artistic possibilities of the humble gourd, this juried exhibition features work by gourd crafters and gourd artists from across the country competing for cash awards in many categories. Deadline for entry: August 24
The Gourd Patch Arts Festival
September 21
The annual event, sponsored in cooperation with the City of Mayfield and the Mayfield Tourism Commission, includes arts & crafts, gourd vendors, outdoor entertainment, gourd racecar derby, food and much more.
High School Art Show
October 22 – November 16
An exhibition to showcase talented local high school aged students of the Mayfield and Graves County area. Work will be selected by their art teachers.
Artisan Sale: November 16 and 17 (these dates are tentative)
Impressions
November 24 – December 21
The 22nd annual juried art exhibition is open to all visual artists in Kentucky and the surrounding states. Award categories are Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and 3D, Photography, Mixed Media and Fiber Art, plus Best of Show award and other special awards. Deadline for entry: November 16
