The Harvey Parker Community Show

The 20th annual open community exhibition featuring work by area visual and literary artists. Formerly Arts in the Community, we have renamed the show, dedicating it to the memory of guild member, artist, and local art teacher, Harvey Parker.
All About Gourds
September 7 � October 8
An exploration of the functional and artistic possibilities of the humble gourd, this juried exhibition features work by gourd crafters and gourd artists from across the country competing for cash awards in many categories. Deadline for entry � August 27.
Gourd Patch Festival
September 17
The annual event, sponsored in cooperation with the City of Mayfield and the Mayfield Tourism Commission, includes arts & crafts, gourd vendors, outdoor entertainment, gourd racecar derby, food and much more.
Impressions 2011

The 20th annual juried art exhibition is open to all visual artists in Kentucky and the surrounding states. Award categories are Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and 3D, Photography, Mixed Media and Fiber Art, plus $200 Best of Show award and other special awards. Deadline for entry � October 22.
